Best Singles

Here is a collection of some singles I took from 2010 to 2011.

Surrounded by her schoolmates at her school, Aurelia Chan from Nanyang Girls High School receives the torch from Keith Wong of Nanyang Primary. Hundreds of students turned up in the early morning to cheer on torch bearers, which are students nominated by teachers and friends. (13th August, 2010)

A little child looks back on the Chinatown bus of US. The bus is the cheapest mode of inter-city transport in the USA and its used extensively while at the east coast. While it originated as a popular form of transport for American Chinese to travel between the Chinatowns of various US cities, in recent years it became the favourite for many Black families too. 

Student hostels at the University of Missouri during winter. The land was covered in snow.  The bright lights came from the floodlights at a football field nearby where students continue to play American football in freezing weather. 

The Universal Studios in Los Angeles demonstrates how destructive scenes are created in some Hollywood dramas. Many studio sets cost millions of dollars to construct, creating many blockbuster movies over the decades. Once shrouded in secrecy from the public, some older and retired sets are revealed to tourists. 

The bean at Chicago. I like this picture because it reminded me that USA is a kind of parallel universe. Many things are similar, and yet some other stuff are just so different. 

A couple at the benches in MIT. At these Ivy League universities, groundbreaking research is done and changing the world we live in.

He was part of a five-man sailing team what was commended on the 2007 National Day rally by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for achieving gold. Besides sports, Teo is an enterprising individual who started two businesses.
